I will present first the official press release by our “international coalition for climate change”, and then give you an insight into my vision or utopia for the week, and in the end I will describe a newspaper article I published about the universities role and responsibility towards the climate striking young people and the climate crisis.
The global climate strike week for future is organized by a “movement for movements” which brings together FridaysForFuture, ExtinctionRebellion, Earth Strike and more traditional NGOs like greenpeace, 350.org, avaaz, amnesty and so on.

Here comes a possible vision linked to the purpose of the week. What is the week about?
During the week I published an article in the Swedish newspaper “etc” about the universities role and responsibility towards the climate striking children and the climate crisis.
“It´s not only about the universities footprint, but what universities teach and how. There is something very wrong when students (economy, education, architecture…) can get their degrees without grasping the existential dimension of the climate crisis.”
